Documentation Needed to Register

In order to work for Top Temps we need you to provide the following documentation:

Right To Work Documentation:

To comply with Home Office legislation Top Temps must check and copy every candidates Right to Work documentation before you start work for us. Examples of the type of documents you need to bring with you are listed below. For a full listing of the documents that can be presented or for further information please visit www.bia.homeoffice.gov.uk

UK Nationals

UK Passport or
Long Birth Certificate & Proof of National Insurance (documents include NI Card, P45, document provided by DWP including Jobcentre)

EU Nationals

Passport or
National Identity Card

Other Nationalities

Passport or
Other travel document showing your Right To Work status

Information For Payroll

In order that we can pay you, you should bring:

Bank Details
National Insurance Number, if you have one
Please note that if you do not have your own bank account you can be paid by cheque or we can pay your wages in to another persons’ account that you elect.

Relevant Licences/Qualifications

If you are applying for a position that requires a specific licence or qualification you should bring these details with you. These may include:

• Drivers Licence: photo card and paper counterpart
• Fork Lift Truck Licence
• Curriculum Vitae
• Food Hygiene Certificate

References

Top Temps have a policy of gaining references on all our candidates in line with our clients’ procedures.
When you register you must bring with you either a written work reference from a previous employer on their letterhead or their contact details in order that we can obtain the reference ourselves.

In addition, all candidates must provide one character reference from an individual of professional standing in the community that is not related to you.
